October 2011 Les Mills filming dates

Posted on: August 21, 2011

Hey guys, below are the dates for the next batch of Les Mills’ releases – as usual these dates are subject to change by LMI (although changes are very rare I’ll let you know as soon as I hear if that happens). If you are thinking of coming bear in mind that this is just after the Rugby World Cup and flights/accommodationย could be more expensive as a result so you may want to work around the RWC dates. Should be awesome see you there!

Hey Glen!

I’m david, from Spain. I want to ask you something, maybe you’ll know…
I’ll be in Auckland for two months and I would love to go to LMI for the filming dates. Can I just go and be at the filmings or I need a special ticket or something? I have no idea…
thanks and congratulations for your blog, love it!!

Hi David – you can actually just buy a casual pass at the gym on reception on the day itself and that will get you into all the filmings of the day. Simple as that!

Hi Glen,

Have just booked flights over from Australia- a girlfriend and I are heading over. Are the dates you have still current and do you know anything about the GFX? I’m told the November filming often concides but can’t find much info…is it okay to ask you questions over the next few months while we get organised???

Gosh BODYATTACK, BODYPUMP, and BODYSTEP numbers are really getting up there!

Hi Mish, dates are still current at this time. Next GFX isn’t scheduled till May 2012 however, they have them every 18 months.

See ya there!

Awesome, thank you! Can’t wait- booking hotel tomorrow and should be all sweet.

A lot of LM peeps stay at The Oaks – you can get a deal at – the rooms have washing machines (helpful after all that exercise!)

Hi Glen! I am excited to come visit next year from the US (looking at either Jan/Feb or April dates right now). Have you done a blog post on frequently asked questions, where you’ve centralized all the advice and information you’ve given on visiting New Zealand, going to filmings, being a tourist?

Hi Jennifer, I have the Jan dates – posted below. There’s loads of places you should visit as a tourist; Queenstown, Rotorua, Waiheke, I could go on and on! Check out for ideas

DAY 1 Thursday 26th January 2012; BS BP BB CX SHBAM
DAY 2 Tuesday 31st January 2012; RPM BV BA BJ BC

Thank you so much!! You’re awesome! ๐Ÿ˜€

Who can go to the filming? Do you have to be an instructor or can you just be someone who loves attending classes? I’m from the U.K. and not part of a Les Mills gym either.

Yes anyone can go to the filmings – just turn up to Les Mills on Victoria St West in Auckland City on the day and pay an entry fee. If you are an LM instructor this fee is discounted however it’s not much anyway considering you can go to every filming of the day.

hi glen.
can anyone go and attend the filming? and uhm, how much does the casual pass cost? and where is the address of LMI?

Hi Glen,

My name is Alan Jansen and i have also booked flights and accomodation for Auckland for the times and i am looking forward to completing an awesome RPM session abroad, as i am now an instructor in Townsville Queensland.

how much is a pass if we are looking at a casual visit

Hi Alan – instructors get a discounted rate of NZ$10 per day which gives access to all classes. Contact Carla at LMNZ to arrange;

hi glen,

am so excited coz i will be in auckland on the 3rd of nov so i can join in the class. i normally do bp and bb, so the classes will not be the ones i normally attend. is everyone usually really fit at these filming sessions, ie will i stick out like a sore thumb if i take options etc during the BA or BC sessions? thanks so much for all the info. am hoping to take the magic bus for a north island discovery ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi enz – options will be fine of course there are all sorts of people at the filmings and they are option to the public so there’s always new people too. You’ll love it ๐Ÿ™‚

excellent – i do some BC and BA but always wish i was fitter to be able to enjoy the classes more.

thanks again

Hi Glen, always great to read your Blogs, just a question, your shedule must be quite full as you seem to have fewer blogs lately.
Also, the “situation” between Dan and Rach, (and im sure many out of Aucklanders wont know) is this starting to affect the numbers now attending combat. Their Wednesday slot was always a highlight of the week, now its at least 25%+ less now. Is it just me me or are the BC numbers starting to lessen more each week and popularity is starting to fade in the way Tae bo and Fight Do went.

Hi Robbo, yeah I’ve been in the UK for the last few weeks, just got back about a week ago. ๐Ÿ™‚

I can’t speak for numbers everywhere but combat is going off at our gym, we’re adding another class next month in fact. I guess the D&R situation is a unique one that could be affecting their numbers but from what I’ve seen (and was in the case in the UK too) combat is still the busiest cardio based programme.

I’ll be posting again regularly now I’m back ๐Ÿ™‚

Curious… what “situation” between Dan and Rach??

Love your blog btw, check it regularly for the lastest news about Body Combat. Nice to have a heads up before we get the new release here in the Netherlands ๐Ÿ˜‰ Keep it up!

Glen! I’m coming to visit in January! I. CAN’T. WAIT. Thanks for the info.
From Washington DC to Auckland City, and then all around NZ, it’s going to be an unforgettable vacation. ๐Ÿ™‚

Awesome Jennifer see you then!

hi glen, what time would the first session of filming start normally? am hoping to at least attend BC. Thanks in advance ๐Ÿ™‚

Have your say!
