Shortest & Longest BODYCOMBAT mixes (BC1-BC49)

Posted on: August 3, 2011

BODYCOMBAT 49 sees two changes to these lists; one change to the longest list, at almost 7 minutes track 5 (Don’t Need) is a BIGGY! Track 4 (Lord of The Rings) also made it only the shortest list at 4:17, and track 2 (Kick in the Teeth) almost scrapes into the shortest list as well, missing out by all of one second at 3:17.

BC49 is definitely back end loaded, with 2, 3 and 4 being short at around the 3 or 4 minute mark, and then tracks 5-8 all being reasonably long. So once again if you’re an instructor keep an eye on your playlist length when you start mixing. Lists follow:

01: Dragostea Din Tei / My Life Would Suck Without You (BC41) 9:48
02: The United Vibe (BC35) 7:11
03: Poison (BC42) 7:31
04: Enter Sandman / Boom (BC41) 7:09
05: Don’t Need (BC49) 6:57
06: Russian Roulette (BC45) 6:48
07: Excalibur (BC42) 7:42
08: Your Shining (Hixxy Remix) (BC44) 8:05
09: Somebody To Love (BC21) 6:05

TOTAL: 1:14:21

01: Summermelody / Does the Fish Have Chips? (BC34)   6:11
02: Thnks Fr Th Mmrs (BC34) / Energy (BC44) 3:16

oh good ive been waiting for a short T2 and 3…and 4…bit worried about this long T5 though

And that track 5 rocks too!

I agree Chris best track 5 EVER!

Glen, can u ask Dan & Rach, “When are we going to have the Longest Cooldown track”, please. : )

Brian you actually want a longer cooldown?

– think we deserve a longest cooldown track. Just lie there and practice ‘corpse pose’ for 10 mins. Its been uphill all the way since BC45 and the hill gets steeper with every release.

We’ll just add in a BODYBALANCE relaxation track!

What’s the longest and shortest PPCA approved mix? :p

Good grief good question and to be honest I have no idea! I’m not even entirely sure what tracks are and aren’t PPCA free historically. Hopefully someone knows – Pascal maybe?

Off the top of my head, granted i don’t have all of the tracks in front of me right now…

Longest PPCA approved list
1. No Easy Way Out/Are You Gonna Go My Way 9:28 (45)
2. Let Me Hear You Scream 5:23 (47)
3. We Dance On 7:15 (47)
4. Fire 6:07 (47)
5. If I Were You 5:27 (48)
6. Russian Roulette 6:48 (45)
7. Braveheart 2006 7:14 (46)
8. Your Shining (Hixxy Remix) 8:05 (44)
9. The Time (Dirty Bit) 5:41 (48)
10. Doesn’t Mean Anything 4:35 (44)

Shortest PPCA approved list:
1. Brighter Day/Use Somebody 6:51 (44)
2. Energy 3:15 (44)
3. Truly Madly Deeply 4:56 (46)
4. Kalinka 4:38 (46)
5. Ignorance 4:16 (44)
6. Let Me Entertain You 4:41 (41)
7. You’re Going Down 4:49 (47)
8. Everywhere 5:10 (48)
9. Put Your Hands On Me 3:09 (44)
10. Black Box 3:29 (45)

Granted with 49, the longest tracklist would be pushed to about 1:08

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. I don’t have all of the usable tracks on me🙂

Oh wait I’m a dirty liar. The shortest non-licensed T8 is Reach Out 4:32 (28) Wow I thought nothing was shorter than 48’s 8!

How hard a workout is the shortest mix? I always wondered what it would be like. Has anyone done it and added extra track to make it up to the usual running time?

Have your say!
